Alanna giving Trey a hug!

All the kids.  They were happy to see Trey!

Today January 7th, Trey looked forward to the visit from his brother and two sisters. He kept asking when they would come see him. He couldn't wait! He was really bummed when he learned that his cousins and friends wouldn't be allowed to come and visit. Grandma Illa and Aunt Ana drove the kids to the hospital after school. The other kids loved seeing Trey. I think it helped them see where he was and see that overall Trey was okay. They sure thought that the room was cool. Of course his sisters wanted to try out the bathroom. Trey looking so serious nonchalantly said to Katrina "you can use it, but there are cameras that look up at your butt to see if you are sick." There was a round of laughter as Katrina's face had a look of shock on it like "your kidding, right?" Needless to say she refused to use that bathroom! We all had a good laugh at that. Trey is still trying to keep a sense of humor. Trey also proudly showed all of his "war" wounds with his brother and sisters. They were in awe!

He has loved all the fun things like games, books, puzzles, drawing items, treats and so many other things that people so lovingly have offered. Tyler, one of Trey's cousins, even went so far as to share is DS with him. So many have done selfless acts of service for our family. We will forever be grateful. Trey is in awe of how many people really care about him. He heard about one of his cousins that was really sad and worries about him. He is starting to understand that many people worry about him and care for him. It has really touched Trey's heart and he gets kind of emotional when we talk about it. Thank you to everyone.
